Hi I am Antón Lorenzo García,

Since childhood I have been a very curious and active person, interested in trying to understand how things work. These interests led me, once finished studies in telecommunications, to specialize in data science.

Since then I had the opportunity to work on various data analysis research projects, both national and international, which dealt with such diverse problems as the spatial study of visual test fields, omnidirectional vehicle control or financial information available on social networks. In them, in addition to enriching myself both personally and professionally, I have been able to acquire and improve many competences of this area such as the development of classification and clustering systems, the implementation of neural networks or the extraction, cleaning and preparation of data especially on R and Python.

As a data analyst I try to take my concerns to the work I do, avoiding the systematic application of statistical techniques and trying to find the meaning behind the extracted results. I have always been an organized and committed person, structuring in detail the tasks before starting in order to develop complete and robust works, and adapting to the changes that may arise during its realization, as well as collaborating as much as possible with my colleagues.

Now, my goal is to continue working in this field with which I enjoy so much and have the opportunity to face new challenges that allow me to know new things and improve my skills as a data scientist.
